Hi everyone! Does any one know how I would go about typing name on cake pictures so that others on the web can alter, edit or claiming to be theirs instead of mine. Thanks in advance and happy baking. icon_smile.gif

Picnik.com has great free photo editing that allows you to add a watermark. However, it has been proven many times on different sites and forums, that some shady "decorators" will remove a watermark from someone else's photo and even add their own on top of it...so don't think a watermark will keep you 100% safe. icon_sad.gif

I sometimes put a business card on the cake board, before I take the photo. So the cake could definately only be mine. See attachment

I am going to try the picnic website myself, as have never been able to watermark my photoes with the software I have on my pc

I keep a little page, blank except 'cakes by 7yyrt' in the save box of my PhotoDelux.
Size the picture the way I want, and pull the page out over the top of the picture. save it, and voila - watermarked!

I can't find anything on that piknic site about watermarking...what is it under?

The tab that says create, go to add text....that is what watermarking is on Picnik
