I'm doing a cow jumping over the moon cake for a baby shower this weekend. I want to do the bottom tier like the night sky and then do a round moon with a fondant cow jumping over it. anyway....how do I get that midnight blue color? Royal blue and black?

I have a book that shows different color combinations and it says to mix some black icing in with royal blue icing, not straight black color. But yeah, it was royal blue and black.
