okay, i am getting married september 5th thius year and want to try to do a grooms cake for John. he LOVES to catfish. any ideas on how to do this?

theres a lot of fish cakes in the gallery, you could pm some of their creators.
you will need to decide on the recipes you want to use. and ten practice, if you need to, the techniques.
id probably go for a round/ rectangle cake and start craving, wth a couple of pictures to work from.

I did one fish (though not posted). I pm'd some of the folks here for instructions. The thing I noticed is, once you get the specifics about that particular fish molded, it all comes together with the airbrushing, or hand painting if that is what you will be doing. They are not as scarey as they appear. Good luck and post pics!
