i have seen simple, free instructions kicking about - these boards have been used on lots of cakes, maybe send out a few polite PMs, see if any of the people that used them, made them, and are willing to share?

I made one of these and I used a metal wreath form..... you can get them at most any craft store....... I wrapped it in blanket batting, then in cheap satin or taffeta fabric....it was really easy and FUN !
