So I have made 2 cakes covered in MMF this week and the next morning they have had huge air bubbles on top. Is there something that I am doing wrong? I've been using BC underneath the MMF. It's never happened before...but then again I have always used chocolate ganache underneath my MMF. Could it be the BC?

I get them and I just pop them with a needle and smooth. You cant see the hole.

I did pop them, but the cake ended up looking all messed up because all of the decorations had been applied. icon_cry.gif

Does anyone know why this happens? I have to do another cake next weekend and I am hoping to avoid this problem. Thanks!

Wow i hope it doesn't happen next weekend to you,it only happens to me when my fondant is still soft so i just prick it and its fine,i always use buttercream underneath too.
