What guage floral wire do I need to support stats and circles that will be used coming from the top and sides of a cake? Has anyone used the paper wrapped wires from Japan sold by Global Sugar Artf?

depends how heavy the item is, and whether you want the wire straight or bending.
for heavy items, or straight wire, you need a thick wire, lower guage, maybe a 16?
for light items, or things you want to bend, something like a 24 guage, which is thinner - its what i used for my cupcake with stars.
