My brain is shot after a weekend of cakes so I need some help coming up with an idea. I have to do a cake for a church walk/bazaar. The theme is "Life is a Gift" / birthday cake theme. It can be any size/shape/color, etc. There will be other cakes there so I'd like mine to stand out yet be easy for them to cut and serve at the end of the event.
I am blank. I was thinking maybe a gift box?? But then how does "Life" tie into that?? Any help is greatly appreciated!
Thanks so much!
Oh boy......this is a hard one ![]()
The only thing I can think of is a life path.

Oh,, maybe the hand of God holding a baby?? On a gumpaste card on top of the pkg cake??
maybe you could cover it in fondant and paint different scenes on the sides before adding the ''ribbon and bow'' part?
A tree with presents hanging from the branches.
that sounds cool, a raised tree, kinda 3d ish but flat against the cake hope that makes sense- with fondant gift boxes hanging from it.
or if not that, how bout a mother cradling her child sillouette ?
