Fabulous site..love all the info..its in my favs now. I did notice something and didn't know if it was on purpose. Galleries you have on there are listed ...galleries..then 2 ..then 4 and then 3..didn't know if you wanted them that way or you missed it..seriously love the site! you did a fabulous job with it and beautiful cakes too
You're cakes are fabulous! I've never seen more gorgeous cakes in one place. Every cake looks like sheer perfection. I don't want to be critical. It may be just me but on your links page I had a hard time reading the links in blue. I may be just tired but they don't seem as clear.

One thing I might change is the background color - or the font color - they seem to fight with each other.
Now if they just had a link to where can I find more time in the day... 
It's a nice site. My only real complain is that the links are on the bottom of the page and you must scroll to them. Is there any way you can get them up above the picture? Other than that good job. 
Now I know I don't post often, I'm more of a lurker but I do love to see what others do with their websites and such.
Soo...maybe it's just me by why would you have a website and have people's mouths water of the awesome cakes that you have made, thinking to themselves "Gee...that cake would be great for my daughter" and then say "You are not taking on any new business". Isn't that the reason to have a website?
I unfortunately can only do a very limited number of cakes right now for personal reasons, we are moving. I know it seems crazy to attempt that in this market but it's unavoidable. I still post my cakes so that people can get ideas and I'm also trying to move my site away from what I can to do to just the cake community in general. Like a cake information website. I've spent a lot of time surfing the cake web, just thought I'd share what I've found on one easy to get to site.

Kayt-That is EXACTLY what I have on my site right now. 
I am lucky and have a lot of flexibility with the kitchen I rent, so I can afford to take time off when I want. Right now I am wanting to take some time off until my son starts Kindergarten next year. However, I still have my site because I am showcasing my cakes still. What is wrong with that?
Please understand, I was not saying there was anything wrong with anything anyone was doing. I just didn't understand why. I asked why, she told me what she was doing. Case closed. I don't see where any harm was done.
I think it looks great! Your cakes are beautiful and I love the list of links...I'll need to work my way through some of them.

Wow, you are in the exact situation as me. I too can only accept a limited number of orders. I too just put up my web site (www.sugargardencakes.com) about 2 weeks ago. Part of the reason I wanted a web site is so that my family could have some place to go to look at my work since they don't live by me.
Your work is amazing and the web site is very well done. The pictures are very clear. Congratulations.
