How Do I Make A Fondant Bow?

I tried the tutorial in here on making a bow. I used Satin Ice fondant and am having a very hard time. My fondant kept tearing. Do you guys have any tips on what kind of fondant to use or should I use gumpaste. Thank you.

I live in a very high climate area, so I add Tylose to my fondant and it makes it solid and dries great!

I find itbest to use a 50/50 mix of fondant and gumpaste. Here's another tutorial for you to check out. It's in another language but the pictures are really good, you don't need the words.
