I am making an ivory wedding cake with champagne ribbons and bows. I have a champagne luster dust from GSA, but how would I color the fondant? Would I mix it with vodka and paint it on? I've never really worked with luster dust before, can someone help me??? thank you!!!!

what ever you do, dont mix the dust in with the fondant, it wont work. i would try brushing it on a bit of spare fondant and see how it looks. if it needs to be a bit stronger, then mix it with some vodka, and paint it on.

again i would eperiment. maybe a slightly tan coloured fondant to start with? or ivory? or anything vaguely champagne coloured is really what you want to start with - white fondant just means it may turn out as a less intense colour.
