Do I Need To Use Heating Core?

Here's a question-when baking an 11x15 sheet cake, do I need to use a heating core? If so, do I just need one in the middle, or one on each end? I have only used heating cores with the 8x3 round pans. Please help-have to bake this one tomorrow!! Thanks!!

I never use a heating core in my 11x15 sheet cakes. icon_wink.gif

NO......plain and simpleicon_smile.gif It is not necessary.

I'm the odd man out here, I use upside down flower nails in my sheet cakes to help bake more evenly. I also use bake even strips and I never have much of a dome to level off.
