Does anyone out there have a good crusting cream cheese icing you can actually smooth with the VIVA towel method and tastes good?

I have a bride inquiring, and I use only buttercream, but she'd rather have cream chesse.

Help please?!?

Thanks in advance.

I've used this one and it is delicious!

CRUSTING CREAM CHEESE ICING
1 cup butter
1 lb cream cheese, softened
3 1/2 lbs sifted confectioners sugar
1/2 cup crisco
1 TBS. clear vanilla extract
1/2 tsp. popcorn salt

Cream butter, cream cheese, crisco and vanilla. Gradually beat in sugar and salt. Beat on low speed until nice and creamy.

This makes a nice stiff icing. For thinner icing, use 3 lbs sugar. Smooth with Viva paper towel after allowing cake to sit for 15 minutes to allow icing to crust.

HTH.
