I have been asked to make this cake. Client provided photo so I don't know if it was made by a cc member if it was I hope it is ok for me to use this as a reference.

My question is for the bow at the top with the tails do I make the entire bow ahead of time or just the bow part and make the tails when I decorate the cake itself. If I should make it ahead of time how do I judge where it will fall on the cake?

Any advice would be appreciated
Thanks
LL

Hi, I would make the bow ahead and do the tails after you decorate the cake. To check the size of the , use the pan that you are going to use for the top tier.

HTH.
