Hi CC'ers!

I am looking for some ideas for a 1960's musical topsy turvy. I have looked at the gallery and did not find any topsy turvy musical. I really like the checkerboard and the piano keys. I plan on using the piano keys on the cakeboard itself. Does anyone know of any or have any ideas for me to use? Thanks for your help!

I would think fun colors, the funky flower cutouts, this could be an adorable cake.

These are two great 60's cakes from PinkCakeBox...you could add some musical elements to one of these!

Thank You Thank You, Summer, Shell and Krissie!
This will be for an older gentlemen so I may have to tone it down a little but your ideas are awesome! I really like that first cake Krissie! If I don't use that for him in some way I'm going to do one just because I love it!

Cool lava lamp for the topper too Shell!
Keep the ideas coming! I guess Elvis was of the 60's. icon_smile.gif

Thanks a mil!

The marbling on the second one looks a little more authentic. We seldom had things one solid color like the first one.
Think using up all sorts of odds and ends of paint to make odd stripes and swathes. Some glittery, others matte, some shiny, some bumpy.

Psychedelic, man. 'Yellow Submarine' had quite a bit of 1960's music ideas.
