I use a little bit of RI to attach them to the fondant. I first make a little dent to where the dragee will be placed, than put a little RI and then the dragee. HTH!

I just use BC. I do the same as nefgaby and make a little dent first (with the end of a paintbrush).

I've used clear vanilla & clear peppermint extract. I put the dragee in a tweezer, dip it in a dot of extract and apply it by pushing it into the icing about 1/3rd. Gotta be careful, as the alcohol in the extracts can strip the finish off of the dragee if you get too much all over it.

I attach with the icing..then when it seems to stick I will "clean" the excess off with a teeny brush or a pass of the tweezer

mmm... I never thought extracts would help attach dragees as well, how does it work, how fast do they attach? Just curious...

Hi, Gabby.
With the extract and the mild push in, they've stuck for me in a second or two on a crusting buttercream and on rolled buttercream. Obviously, the small light ones stick best and quickest. For the really big silver ones, I push them in halfway and hold them a bit longer.
