I need to make a princess hat for a friend that is a HUGE renissance fest fan. I'm thinking the upside down cone hat with the lace that flows down from the top. My duaghter has a real hat like this, it measures 8" at base and is 12" tall!! Would something like this stand up?? Any suggestions on where to begin.
