Two Tier? Size

using round or hexagon pan, need to make two tier cake for shower...what size pans for 40 servings? thanks!

According to Earlene Moore's chart...based on double layers

10 inch round will feed 30
8 inch round will feed 15


9 inch hex(No 10 inch pan) will feed 18
6 inch hex will feed 9

so for your best bet I would go with the round..you will have 5 more servings but enough to feed 40.

Earlene's serving are more generous than the Wilton chart also.
