Awwwe shucks. I'm glad she was happy with it. Now make sure you get in touch with the florist if she is going for fresh flowers and have her order some mini sunflowers.. specify that they must be about 3" in diameter. If you don't... you'll have massive blooms to place on the cake and it will look off. If you look at the sunflower cake I have in my photos... that was a "small" bloom... yeah... suuuuuure. icon_lol.gif

had serious issues with the 14" square! The fondant just did not want to cover it. I rolled it out four times and finally just had to cover up the flaws the best i could

Somehow this thread got removed from my Watched List so I'm a few pages behind but I have to know is it just me or is the topper bride pregnant? (It looks like the groom has his hand on her stomach.)

Okay, no offense to anyone who was a preganant bride (heck, I had an illegitimate child - actually 2 - myself) but that knocked up cake topper is just TACKY!

Hhaahah knocked up topper....

My Big Redneck Wedding is calling....ahahahahah

It would have been much more effective on top of a twinkie or Krispy Kreme cake .. LOL

What a world, what a world! I can't handle the pregnant wedding topper!!! I cannot believe such a thing is even manufactured. I'm trying to regain my composure....maybe it's no tackier than the one where the bride is dragging the groom to the alter. I don't know...I just hope no one ever asks me to use one like it.

That's why I always make sure to get a pic of the cake without the topper/candles/whatever! lol

I actually thought the topper kind of explained the cake a little. Kind of says, this is what the quirky bride ordered and yes, it's supposed to look like that!
