Is there a way to view more than just the five newest cake photos on the home page.

Sure!
Click on the Galleries tab at the top of the page.
When you get there, look on the left just above the category pictures and you'll see a small gray tab that reads 'Last Uploads'... that'll take you to the newest ones.
