I am doing an oval 25th anniversary cake, stacked. Can I use sps with this? If so, how?

Put each cake on a cake board and place that on the closest size plate just as you would if it was a round cake. It won't matter if there is some hangover.
You can do this with any shape cake; ie: hearts; petals; even squares.
Of course, you would not want to put a 12x16 on an 8" plate. The more hang over the more possibility of a problem but when you match it as close as possible there should not be any problems.
