Can any of you recommend a good and moist vanilla cake recipe from scratch?
The white cake recipe on this site is the only one I use. It's not a "True" white cake because it uses the whole egg, but it is perfect in texture, taste, and moistness. I use it for layer cakes and cupcakes, it's the BEST!!!! I just add vanilla bean paste and use a high quality vanilla extract - Nielsen-Massey and you will have the best vanilla cake you've ever made.
the vanilla cake from the mermaid bakery is also nice.
