Just finished this cake for my neice, I am on the fence about the black and white dots, do you think it would look better with all black, is it too busy??? Thanks for the opinions! !!! ! !! ! ! !!!

I think that the cake is pretty. It looks like bling bling... diamonds on the letters. Its very pretty!

I like the dots on the cake, but I think you need to outline the letters or something.

I think it looks great...but I agree with julzs71 about outlining the letters....it will make them easier to read

I'm not too crazy about the white at all. I think it would look better all black. The dots on the cake look good, just the lettering makes my eyes hurt a little. icon_smile.gif

Not totally happy w/so much of the dots. I would make the b'day greeting all solid black. Maybe outlining it would be enough - not sure.

I ended up leaving the 18 and the kayla with the black dots, but I outlined the happy birthday part, it was much better! thanks so much for the help you guys!!!

All right here it is, I kinda like the way it ended up looking, the "layers" of Happy birthday jump off the board, almost looks like I meant it to look that way !LOL!!! Thanks again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I saw this one too late icon_sad.gif I love the change and the cake looks great. I personally think I would have "connected the dots" on the name instead but it really does look pretty. I'm sure she will love it!
