help!!! i have been asked if i can make a monkey cake..i want to make it a 3d one but have no idea where to start!! can someone help me please???

I did one for a friends daughter. Here is the pic. I used a sports ball pan for the head and a batter bowl from the Pampered Chef for the body. I baked 2 cakes in the bowl and inverted on onto the other with the widest part of the cakes touching. The arms and legs are fondant. Good luck.
