toleshed,

I'm still new @ this, but I believe they're spreading because there was too much of the yellow chocolate in the butterfly part of the mold. I use the squeeze bottles and try to go slowly. My mom uses her small paintbrushes to paint the designs on the molds. Either approach can be used. Just try to watch how much chocolate you put in at a time. You can always use a silicone spatula to scrape off excess.

Hope this is helpful

Yes, I think it had too much yellow chocolate, and the same thing with the red, i will try it again with less.

I need to make 50 oreos with the feet design by saturday. Since I have some other things to do, how long in advance should I make the oreos?
Will they be ok if I make them today or tomorrow? Will the oreos get soggy or soft inside?
I hope someone sees this and can answer.
Thank you for any help.

They will be fine by then if you make them now. They are encased in the chocolate. They'll be great
