Baketastic, I loved your pictures! The only issue you have doing it the way you have is that you are not uploading pictures to the CC Gallery! Go back into your Forum Info, make sure you say yes to allowing comments when you upload pictures. Next, go into the galleries and hit the "upload pictures" option. It will walk you through the steps to upload pictures to the gallery.

Keep up the good work. You are well on your way toward making them irresistable to everyone! You will find that when you switch to the stiffer icing you will have the results you want in terms of stiffness.

Thanks so much for the help, I'm going to try that out now! And thank you so much for checking out my pictures and complimenting. I'm going to do the home made icing (cream cheese) this Thursday night, so wish me luck. I'll take pictures of the final project if its edible. Haha.

I haven't had a chance to check out many threads besides these few... I tried looking in that one and got so overwhelmed! icon_redface.gif

I went to upload my pictures in the gallery but there is no section for cupcakes so I wasn't sure where they belonged, any suggestions?

For the time being, if no one minds, I made my red velvet cake and cream cheese frosting from scratch and they turned out great! Here are a few pictures:

Honest reviews? I followed the Paula Deen recipe for both and did it completely from scratch using the stand mixer my husband just got me on Wednesday. I also piped with a 1M tip. icon_biggrin.gif

Baketastic.. You did an awesome job on them! They look beautiful and sound delicious !
But I love love Paula Deen!
But you need to post them in the gallery so you can get some views and comments on your hard work !
I put cupcakes in the mini cakes-pettit fours section !

Baketastic, your cupcakes look great! My favorites are the ones that are plain cream cheese without the chocolate as additional embellishment. --ONLY because I think it takes away from your details...

I, too, post my cupcakes in the same category mentioned above. We need a cupcake category in the gallery. hint hint icon_lol.gif

Your husband sounds like a sweetie. Keep him around... they are great taste-testers!

Hi Baketastic, im Jess ( she says as she offers 1/2 a cupcake) nice to meet a fellow cc lover!

im new to decorating too, this is a great place to have found.

I love your cc's! I especially love the way you lifted the tip straight up on to make a little 'star' in the center. Great job!

Keep up the good work.
