I have an order for a cake, the customer wants a baby doll cake and wants the doll to have on a pink dress. I am not sure what to do, I thought about using two ball half pans one for the head and one for the body. And doing a pink fondant dress. But what do I do for the arms and legs? Anyone have any ideas? Or does anyone have a better idea?

Thanks for any help you can give.

couldn't you just use a small round (4" or 6") for the head and then cut a sheet cake?
take off the lower 4" from a 13" cake and use that to make the arms and legs and then cut the remaining part into a dress shape?

That would work. I guess I am making this harder than it has to be. Thank for the help. I just needed a little inspiration, I always get that here. icon_razz.gif
