I'm new to the forums, so I'm not sure if this is the right discussion forum to post this, but I'm sure it can be moved if it isn't.

I was wondering if anyone has any good links to some cake decorating videos online. I've only been able to find a few (that are free), and I was hoping you guys knew where they all are hiding. I've found some from Lorraine McKay, which I thought were VERY interesting.

I'm also new to cake decorating. I made a pirate ship for a friend 2 years ago that tasted so bad (I HATE fondant. lol.) and just looked terrible except for the wooden planks, so any tips you guys can give would be more than helpful.

Make your own fondant and flavour it, much better than the bought stuff. I use Michelle Foster's fondant which you can do a search for on this site.
Check youtube.com you will find quite a few short informational videos there. Some are pretty good.

seriouscakes and tonedna have great videos on youtube.
