The mold will make it look like a piece of candy. The side and top will be very smooth and straight. It looks so much nicer. That said, I don't have a mold, so I just dipped mine. I wasn't very thrilled with the results, especially after seeing the molded type.

Water based colors can cause your chocolate to seize up...NOT a good thing. ![]()
