My dh is a Viet Nam vet and he at the last minute (!) decided to attend his PTSD support group meeting tomorrow. He said the guys are bringing Christmas treats and finger foods and asked if I could make something. I have a 9" chocolate cake round in the freezer and that is not the problem. He wants me to write something on the cake. Should I just write "Thank You Vets" or Merry Christmas" on the cake? Or something else...? I was just going to do buttercreme decor, like a couple of poinettias and maybe a snowman. These are all disabled Vets and the support group is at the VA center. Whatcha think?

what about "Thank you & have a Merry Christmas", I don't know if it'll all fit or not, but I bet they'd like it. It'd also go great with the design you were thinking.

Tell your hubby thanks from my family as well!
