I made a branch out of floral wire., and covered it in chocolate. I'm done stacking the stupid cake (when putting the middle tier on the bottom one, I dropped it!! When putting the top on on the middle tier - I dropped that one too!!) It's been a horrible night and I just want this dumb cake out of here!!!

Anyway, I figured it would be safest to put the branch on at the venue, because this is a buttercream cake. Sooo...how do I go about doing that? The branch has some movement to it, so it's not completely straight, but it doesn't exactly wrap around the cake like I thought it would. And how do I get it to stay in place?

Thanks in advance- I have to deliver this at 9am! icon_cry.gif

Sorry I can't help with one made from wire. I have made one using MMF before (see below) and used buttercream to glue it on and toothpicks to secure it in place the night before to give the buttercream time to crust. I removed the toothpicks after I delivered it. Good luck!
