I have never figured out the attraction to Red Velvet cake. I know my stepmom makes one every year at Christmas for her girls, and one time I had a piece of it and while it wasn't bad, I didn't see what all the fuss was about.

It wasn't very chocolately and it wasn't too moist either. If you read a recipe, it only contains like a couple TBSP of cocoa for an entire cake.

I only made it one time, and it was because someone requested it as the innards of a buffalo cake. haha.
