So I made the most beautiful pumpkin swirl cheesecake last night but was so tired I couldn't stay up to put it in the fridge after it cooled. I trusted that my husband would handle that for me. Well, I wake up this morning and there it sat. It came out of the oven at 1am and I woke up at 7:30. How long is too long for it to have not gone in the fridge? In my heart I just know it is ruined but I guess I'm just looking for conformation. Thanks for any help!

Unless the room temp was like 80 degrees; I'm sure it's fine. I wouldn't hesitate to eat it or serve to family. I wouldn't let Hubby have any, though!

I made hubby eat the first piece much earlier than every one else. When he was ok, we all decided to eat it up!!! Thank you all for your help and knowledge!
