So is everybody else getting a general error message with every post or answer to a PM?

I'm getting it when I post in general. I'm not even getting email notification of new posts to topics I'm watching. I'm hoping they're still working on the site!

Statis quo(sp?) here too. Not only the threads but the pix haven't changed. I uploaded a couple last night but they haven't showed yet.

i tried sending a huge novel of a pm icon_biggrin.gif yesterday in response to someones request for help, and when i sent it, it showed an error...so i lost whole thing! icon_eek.gif i'm afraid to try again, cause i don't want to use up ALL my brain cells...dont' have many to spare!! icon_cry.gif

Same here mini - I sent a long PM, and then thought I lost it, sent a shorter one and the recipient got both.

Ditto. I always go back to the thread and check.

however, since no messages are being sent, I've put-off looking at new cakes that may have been posted ... if I leave a comment, I want to be sure the person sees it.

The error message is for the email notices. that's why the emails aren't coming through.
