I have a recipe for a jelly-roll cake that has to be baked on a sheet. I want to make this cake in a 9" round pan. Will this work?

I don't believe it will work. The dough needs to be flat and room to expand. Having it in too small of a pan will make it rise up like a cake, versus flat. Also, easier to remove from a flat sheet than a pan with walls.
