Someone emailed me this picture and wanted to know if I can make a similar cake. I keep staring at it trying to work out the construction, and now my brain hurts because I'm unsure of the best way to tackle it! ![]()

Covering it in fondant with all those nooks and crannies does not sound like a fun job at ALL. If you had to take this cake apart and recreate it, how would you do it?
