I live in the middle of nowhere. The nearest craft store is 35 minutes away. I need to make cookies on sticks for my daughters birthday cake. I went to the local lumber supply store in the small town near me and got thin dowels the same thickness as the lollipop sticks. Can I bake these into the cookie or do I have to add them later because they are wood?
I HAVE USED SKEWER STICKS AND SOAKED THEM IN WATER AND NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH THEM BURNING OR POPISCLE STICKS NO WATER WORKED OUT GOOD AS WELL. SO I 'M SURE YOU CAN BAKE THEM.
