My truffle cake turned out ok. I wish I would have piped a shell border to stick the truffles on top of, but there is always next time icon_wink.gif

Yep I know all about fuzzy cell phone pics!
Well in the mist of these suckers I was trying a new cookie icing ( I posted those ) If you do cookies You might want to give it a try also I really liked it.
I also have to make a bunch of pink ribbon cookies and pink swirled cupcakes ! I dont even like the color pink !

Oh Fiddlesticks, those are soo cute! Now did you have to color the white chocolate and do you use regular paste color for that? I rem trying to color some one time & it was a "blob"! icon_rolleyes.gif I am just soo pleased with my truffles! I shouldn't have waited so long to try that!

Fiddle~ those are wonderful. I bought the oreo mold that had the ribbon. I made the yellow ones for the soldiers, and made the pink ribbon for a co-worker that walked the race.
I love the pink color you used.

Fiddlesticks, love your packaging on the suckers! Do you know if I can freeze some truffles? I made some white choc. with pina-colada (Sp) flavoring today but haven't finiished them. I think I am doing them in molds.

Fiddle - I just made Valentine's cookies from the NFSC recipe. My first time using it, and I'm very happy. I think RI will help sweeten them up.

I'm out of chocolate! Somehow, those big'ol bags and tons of bars I bought disappeared. I really need to start closing the bedroom door when I sleep...lol

sayhellojana.. Yes the NFSC is my fav go to recipe .I love it! Im going to use the new icing recipe I just tried on my Mickey cookies for the ribbon cookies I have to do. I really liked working with it. I have all my cookies cut out and back in the fridge.I didnt have time to bake yesterday when I cut them out. I hope later today or Sun I can get going on them .I had out of town over night company last night ,but they left early. I hope you post your cookies when your done .

Here are my cookies. NFSC (flavored with 1/2 teaspoon vanilla 1/2 teaspoon almond) fondant and RI. I dont do cookies often. I thought the RI was too thick, I had a lot of trouble piping with it.

Those are soo pretty and they look perfect to me! I am going to make one more recipe and try the fondant. I have never put it on a cookie! Actually, I have some impression mats I want to try! icon_lol.gif Its a good excuse!

Well I am still hanging around! Dipped some more pretzels because "everybody" loves them. Also, I had just a little choc leftover so I poured it and cut some little one inch hearts --maybe to put on a cupcake!
