This is a cake that I have made for my daughter's halloween party tomorrow. It is Freddy vs Jason. It needs something. It totally looks unfinished to me. My daughter says it doesn't need anything else but I think it looks plain to me. I was also going to enter this in the halloween contest on here.

I would maybe add a border around the bottom of each of your pieces to finish it off some. I might also outline the circles on the mask in black to make them stand out more and create some more interest on the mask.

I agree with mcdonald, clean bottom board up and put a border around each piece. I would do the border the same color so not to stick out but make it look finished.

what kind of border? My daughter doesn't want me to do any of the regular borders (shell, rope, star). She says that it won't go with the theme. She says it would make it look too girly. I was also thinking that maybe I add some brown pearl dust to the mask to "dirty" it up a little bit.
