Does anyone have a recipe for candy apples? The hard red candy type.

I'm looking for the same recipe I haven't find it yet I found the caramel one it's good but stick in the teeth I'm wondering if the recipe for hard candy can work in the apples? icon_rolleyes.gif

I use a basic hard candy recipe (sugar,water) and add a teeny bit of cinnamon oil and some red colouring. Boil the syrup to hard crack stage if you want it good and hard.
