I always get the shorbread sugar cookies and The Cheesecake Factory, and they're not as crumbly as shortbread, not as soft as sugar cookies, but a perfect blend of the two. I havent been able to find a recipe. Can anyone help?

Just surf the web you will find loads.

The best recipes use cornflour/cornstarch in them, keeps them nice and even and won't spread while baking.

You can add any flavourings you like to them, lemon, vanilla etc.

I bake them on a very low setting for longer to keep them really pale for decorating.

They freeze well too. HTH.
