Coloring Fondant/toning Down Colored Fondant

Is there any easy way to tone down already colored fondant? I purchased blue & pink fondant, only to find out that they are a little brighter than what I was wanting. If not, what is the best way to color fondant? With this upcoming baby shower.....I want the color to be perfect. Help please!!!

take a little pice of the colored fonfant and add white fondant. if the color its too light just add a litlle more colored fondant

Totaly agree with Cmaysa. Add a bit of white fondant to the coloured fondant. icon_smile.gif

Not getting it to tone down enough. Any other suggestions?

Yes. Start with white and knead in small amounts of colored fondant. thumbs_up.gif

Also remember that fondant usually dries one shade lighter.
