icon_confused.gif I am a newbe and I could sure use some advice. First I would like to say that I love love this website. I love the way everyone helps eachother out. Anyway I have made 5 cakes 4 of them 3-D for my friends and family and I am having the same problem each time. How do you cut and serve a 3-D cake. I don't want it to be a huge mess after a while. Is there a special technique? I would appreciate any help I can get. Have a great day everyone. icon_confused.gif

I guess depending on the over all shape of the cake you'd start either from the very top down, or even from the heaviest side to the lightest side. At least that's the way I do it.
