cakeforte is correct, when i seen the pics, thought the same thing. in pic 1 and 3 their is more focus on the cake, but them cutting into the cake looks better than them eating it. just my thoughts on it. have a great everyone!!! icon_biggrin.gificon_biggrin.gif

I'm going to say #2. You want to sell the atmosphere/vibe - not just a product. For me, #2 give a whole vs. a cheesy/posed cake photo op. Plus, as it's been pointed out, #2 is framed better. You have the focus on the cake w/o being so direct.
And the rose petals bother me in the other two photos.

I pick #3. I agree that the column looks weird on #2 or I would have picked that one.

#2.

But really, no matter which you go with, you cannot go wrong! They are all great.

I really love number two...the cake being the focus point in the pic sells it better...IMHO the pole doesn't really bother me.

I wanted to say #2 if they could with photo shop of something similar fix the pole the photographer should have noticed that. If it can't be fixed then I would vote for #3 It's very pretty.

#2 because the cake is dominant in the photo. I never noticed the pole and when it was pointed out, I don't find it distracting.

2nd choice would be #3 because I think the cutting of the cake is one of those once in a lifetime events.

I would choose the third photo.

In the first two photos, the cake blends in too much with the pillars behind it. In the third photo, the cake is set apart and more of a focal point. The only thing I would change would be for the champagne bottle & bucket to be "moved" so that they appear to be further back on the table than the cake. With so much white in the photograph, the champagne bottle draws your attention - especially since it appears to be closer to the viewer.

Just my opinion.

Thanks everybody!!! icon_biggrin.gificon_biggrin.gif

It's funny. Your reactions were just like ours~ no clear consensus, so I am going to run all three of them, at different times throughout the year.

#2 is my fav, if only the pole wasn't coming out the top of the cake, so #3 it is, though #1 isn't bad either! #4 is too close-up.
