I have started my halloween cookies and will be freezing the baked cookies until nearer the end of the month but for the bouquet cookies can I add the sticks later when I deforst and decorate the cookies?
Do I just dip the sticks in some royal icing and push them into the cookie? Is it harder to add the sticks after baking and defrosting the cookies?
Hope this is not a silly question, it just occured to me that I had not thought about the cookies that were going to have sticks!
Normally I put the sticks in when they come out of the oven but I don't have room in the freezer to do that on this occasion. TIA
