Has anyone ever made them out of RI before? Could you share your directions or technique? I thought using tip #81 might be a good place to start. They will go on cupcakes for volunteers and survivors at the Race for Cure. I can always go with pink flowers, but thought the ribbon would be a great idea. Thanks!

I used the rose tip and piped it right onto a cookie - no problem. But I don't know about onto a cupcake - will it harden if it's piped onto buttercream?

I did a cake recently with cancer ribbons.

I bought a chocolate mold with 12 deep ribbon cavities and some bright pink candy melts. I wanted the hole in the middle of the ribbon, so I only filled the cavities up to the edge of the hole.

The mold I have is similar to this one:

Just another option.
