What are the most used sizes of floral wire? I want to buy some but only ones I think I'll use often.
Thanks!

Predominately the guages between 18 and 26 are the ones called for in the instructions I have.

If you are just beginning, I recommend getting 22,26 & 28 gauge wire. You will need 18 if you are making long heavy stems as for Calla Lily's or Iris that you need to stand up. Once you become more experienced, you can use all the sizes from 18-30 gauge.
The higher the number, the thinner the wire.
We carry Sunrise wire from Japan because it is wrapped with paper, not cotton thread. If you use the wire available at craft stores that are wound with thread, the treads come off the wire when they get moist from the flower. It makes a big difference to work with the correct wire. Alan
