I will answer my own question. icon_smile.gif

I just ordered the upper and lower sets in block, script, and funky for $50 shipped from www.thebakerskitchen.net . I have never heard of this company, but the site looked legit and I called the number, which was answered immediately by a polite girl who informed me that all 6 sets that I wanted to order were in stock, would ship tomorrow, and arrive by Friday. icon_smile.gif

yeah, I ordered from the bakerskitchen.net also.
I got quite a lot of different sets, and they had the set that I wanted.
I also ordered the ribbon cutter, because I've been wanting one of those.

I would've rather ordered from Global because then cc gets something like 10% of the sale to keep this site running...but I couldn't wait until the one I really wanted to get back in stock.

have fun trying the new toys!

Can extra letters be stored?

Absolutely they can be stored but I would make sure they are made with gumpaste as they will dry hard. I wouldn't do it with plain fondant.

Has anyone used these? http://www.globalsugarart.com/search.php?search=clikstix

I saw them in one of the blogs I follow and think I may have to get some. I have just started having trouble getting some of my letters out of my tappits. My last cake, I spent more time trying to get a "d" than with everything else put together! If someone has used them, I would love hear what you think.

Thanks, Iggy! We used 50/50 fondant & gumpaste but they dried well.
