I probably would use a bright red, then add a bit of brown.
If you have terra cotta, maybe start w/some red, brown, or orange then add terra cotta. You want to keep from having to use a lot of color - especially Wilton's.
Also remember if at all possible make it at least the night before you need it so the color has time to develope.
