I'm making a strawberry cake from a mix and need to substitute 1/2 cup milk for something non dairy. The recipe calls for 1 cup of chopped strawberries with juice as well as 1 cup oil and 1/2 cup milk. What can I use instead of the milk?

For such a small amount I'm sure water would work out o.k. Or, do you have any non-dairy creamer? I've never used it but maybe someone else will chime in and help.
