How Do I Dust

Hi,

I am planning to make a fondant baby shoe I saw here on cc, but I do not know to dust the shoes with luster dust. Do I have to use water on shoe so the luster dust will stick to the shoe or just use a brush and dust it ???

Hi Yazmin,

You have two options, you can brush it on dry (that is what i do) or you can use vodka, everclear, or lemon extract to brush it on for more of a pronounced look. The alcohol with evaporate where as water will leave streaks.

The dry brush option is probably the one most people use.
